Review of bookThis book was specified to be for ages 12 to 18, but it is really for all ages.
It is short and sweet, and took just over an hour to read, but in this hour as a beginner dog owner, I have learnt techniques to help make my new dog feel comfortable in my house, and to learn the commands, come, sit, down, heel, and stay. Additionally there’s bath, fetch, give and no. These are in the realm of techniques on housebreaking, basic obedience training, and corrective behaviour.
One suggestion I have is that training depends very much on the type of dog pedigree. This was somehow placed at the back. I would have preferred this to be at the beginning, because different dogs take to training differently and should be stated right up front.
I rate this book 5 stars but don't take my word for it. Just get the book. You won’t regret the time and small change you have invested in.
